About OakTree OT

OakTree OT is a paediatric occupational therapy service offering mobile support to children and families in the comfort of their own homes, schools, or early learning environments. We believe therapy is most meaningful when it happens in the places where children live, learn, and play.

Founded by experienced occupational therapist Jacinta, OakTree OT is grounded in a warm, relationship-based approach. Jacinta graduated from the University of South Australia in 2000 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy. Over the past two decades, she has worked across a variety of settings in both Australia and the UK, bringing a wealth of clinical knowledge and life experience to her work.

Before starting OakTree OT, Jacinta worked as a Clinical Lead in a private paediatric therapy practice in Adelaide, where she supported both clients and therapists. Her passion lies in partnering with children and their families to identify meaningful goals and build the skills needed for success and participation in everyday life.

Jacinta is committed to neuroaffirming practice and has completed training to ensure her therapeutic approach supports and celebrates neurodiversity. She is guided by the values of respect, connection, and playfulness—always aiming to make therapy engaging, effective, and child-led.

At OakTree OT, every child is seen as capable and unique. Therapy is not just about building skills—it’s about nurturing confidence, fostering independence, and supporting families to thrive.

Our mission is simple: to empower children and their families by equipping them with the skills needed to live their best lives. We recognise that every child is unique, which is why we take the time to understand their individual needs and provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy in a familiar and supportive environment.
